The closest I got to a "technology" class was a typing class in middle school. While I am certainly a fast and proficient typer now, I definitely don't understand a lot of the computer science terms these students are learning. At best, I know some basic HTML and can fumble my way through Photoshop, both of which I learned on my own time through my own experiences exploring the internet as a teen.
It's exciting to see how these classes have evolved since I was in middle school; however, it's also a little scary, since these 7th graders are making me feel out of my depth. :P
